Ok, so my trucks stock color was woodland green. It was a fleet color. You don't see it all that often. It's not a horrible color, really, but....
I don't really want to get deep here and change color/shoot jambs/etc, but I'm not really sure about woodland green, either.
In some ways, I think it would be cool to do the stock fleet truck color, but I'm not sure.
What are your thoughts on woodland green? Anyone else have it? Seen it? It's really faded and beat on mine after 31yrs (and it was repainted), so I'm not even sure wtf it's supposed to look like. I like the 2 tone green/white squares, but I don't think that's woodland.
Any ideas? It seems pics of this color online vary wildly.

Got a picture?

Generally, I'm a fan of all shades of green.

Yeah, what does yours look like? How about the jams or dash are those still woodland green?

Is that WA9015? That’s a 1987 only option, it looks like, but it’s the same color used on the GMT800/900s. I like that shade a lot.

You could mimic the deluxe two tone scheme by doing white below the moldings and the roof and pillars. That way you wouldn’t have to worry about the jambs, but you could shake it up a little bit. The exterior decor scheme with white in the middle would also look good. Any green that’s not a neon-looking color is good in my book.

What I’m thinking for the exterior decor scheme would look somewhat like this, but the scheme would obviously be different since yours isn’t a round eye, and the roof would still be green.

Yes sir. Here's the best one I have.
And I like greens, too. My favorite color.
Looking up gm woodland green online produces some ones I don't like, though.

Yep, they're still woodland. Not a bad color.
The PO.did some dumb ****, though. Mixed a green and white for an accent color. Turned out almost robin egg blue. Lol...

Yes. That's exactly what I was thinking.
I think that looks good.
Interior is saddle, though. Not sure how that would work with the white?
As for the paint code, I just looked up the rpos and found "woodland green".
9V5 - color - woodland green.
I don't know much about decoding these things, though.
O1U - primary exterior color 091
O1L - secondary exterior color 091
?

Other Google searches for GM woodland green produce this.
I dont really think they're confirmed as woodland? I think they're pretty ugly.

When you say fleet and green this minty color is what comes to mind.

That's hideous.
Like a fleet of grandmas selling shower curtain rings and soap dishes or something? lol...

So were big 10s in woodland?

I remember my buddy's dad in high school had a green heavy half.
I wonder now if it was woodland or shamrock or what.
Good looking truck, though.

I’m going by the color chip on Paintref, which looks closer to the earlier pics and not that Suburban. Using that as a reference has served me pretty well in the past. I don’t know how the saddle would go with that. If they offered a saddle interior with solid white, though, I think that’s your answer. It’d be cool to keep it since they only offered the color one year.

Yeah, I think the full woodland green with saddle tan interior would look good.
If the woodland is more like that newer big 10 and less like those other 2 I posted, I think I'd like that a lot.
Here's a pic of my inner door, etc.
Forgot I had this pic.

Lighting and cameras really seem to mess with this color a lot.
