Hi I bought a c20 a few months ago now I was wondering about getting it registered I’ve been told by a few family members that I need it inspected for it to be registered but looked a bit online and can’t find anything about that I do know that it’s been in Alberta for its whole life but not sure when it was last on the road maybe 30 years or so I think I can get insurance for it I called them and they would put it on anytime just need some clarification on what I need

By the way this is the truck

I know in saskatchewan that if it was plated in the province your plating it in your good to go. Now if you buy out of province you have to get it inspection to plate in your province.

We had to get ours inspected for insurance purposes not for the registration. If you can get insurance without the inspection they should have no problem registering it.
