Wire crimpers I never knew about. You need this tool!!

I picked a new wire harness for a 1971 camaro from AMERICAN AUTO WIRE. They want close to
$200 bucks for the crimpers. I know I and many other people will look for a alternative to not spend $200 bucks if we dont have to. After about a week or research, I found the set I need that would work.

I never knew about this type of crimper as I always just used strippers with the thin little crimpers on the bottom of the handle. Now I can say these are the best crimpers I have ever owned. I can now crimp terminals correctly anytime I need. These are some really great crimpers and If you dont own these, You should. I have been doing it wrong for years!!! I have a similiar set and they are they rock! I took every stitch of wiring out of my daughters 69 SS396 Chevelle, used the complete Autowire set, and never had a wiring glitch after it was on the road. The instrument cluster took the longest amount of time.

I have a similiar set and they are they rock! I took every stitch of wiring out of my daughters 69 SS396 Chevelle, used the complete Autowire set, and never had a wiring glitch after it was on the road. The instrument cluster took the longest amount of time.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my snap on crimping pliers and the wire stripping tool. Definitely don't waste your time or money on some cheap ones.

Get whats in your budget, it may take more time or be more tedious, but do what you gotta do. I'm gonna guess Snap On is gonna be more expensive than whats posted here.

I think mine is an older snap on model but the similar one on their website is a bluepoint model and is $78. I wasnt talking down on this tool, just meant the crappy Walmart and auto parts ones. I had a universal wire stripper that I really liked but lost. Was some offbrand.

Know what you mean about the crappy wire strippers. My first upgrade was the 5 dollar ones. They ended up in the trash in about 5 minutes.
