73 give me till saterday and I will get in my 74 and tell you what wires go where on the wiper motor and the switch.

wire 2 is 12v+ wire 1 is low speed - wire 3 is high speed - wire 2 also go's to washer pump . on the switch there is 3 connections starting with the one next to the steering column it is los speed the center is high speed and the one next to the door is the wash pump ground the switch is the ground. hope this helps.

that is right or that is how my wiper is wired


is there a ground wire running to the switch body
or dose it just ground to the dash ?
I hooked it up like shown in picture and nothing LOL

There should be a ground strap for the wiper motor. If you have power on all three leads like you should try grounding the case of the motor.

I got it fixed thanks for all the help
it was a grading issue when I painted the fire wall
and put everything back together I should have
removed the paint from where the case of the motor grounds LOL
