Seems that I may found the bolts, Fellow replied to me from this ad ..
Said he had them, we stuck a deal.
Pay up time was at hand ..
That's when the deal started to smell fishy ..
I told him I would use PayPal to pay with, he said he didn't have that, did have Venmo and Zelle ...

Told him I only use PayPal ..
He came back with he could use a friends PayPay account if I send the payment villa Family & Friends ...

At this point the Red Flags was going up .. !!

Hadn't heard back from him and don't think I will ..

Ok so upon further review, that may not have been a scammer here, but somewhere else. I know I've seen that email address.

You don't remember the member name at all? You can PM me if you have an idea but aren't sure.

Thanks! That is the same user name they used on another forum to try and scam someone. I banned them, as well as another member that shared the same IP address. These a$$holes need to go away.

Were those studded bolts and windage tray only used on the Vortec engines? I've got one with that setup, but haven't seen it on older small blocks.

And yeah, I'm not very old and I haven't been able to trust a fart in nearly 10 years, lol.

I'm building a 454 Big Block, those bolts were in use on 65-up Vettes, Chevelle's any muscle cars/trucks of the era ..
396, 402, 427 and 454 mostly ...

My plan is to overkill lower end oil control with using the GM plate and a aftermarket plate together ...
