Thanks, but it's a little rough if you saw it in person. I am also running a Skyjacker front lift. The truck had blocks in the rear. In hindsight I should have paid the extra money and got the rear Skyjacker springs. That is still on the table.

I want more rake than I have, to get it like this I removed the bottom "helper" from the front. I was trying to keep it from getting too high and wanted a true 1980s style and look. I am also running 33x12.50-15s. So far they don't rub.

The Skyjacker Softride 2.5" front stack:

Yes sir Skyjacker has excellent ride quality especially when you utilize their rear springs... One hugely popular name I'd never use again is Rancho, horrible ride quality unless they have vastly changed in the last 10 years... My truck by the way does not have quite as much rake as it appears in my avatar...

am I the only one to notice all the orange peel? Sorry but I trust my Dad and he says if you know what your doing, you won't have orange peel. I don't care to say that because I've never seen a vehicle he painted since the early 80's that had orange peel. I'm guessing he had 1 or 2 that I didn't see and he scuffed and painted again.

Looks nice from a distance but not $23k distance.

My 91 Suburban is running 17x8.5 Method MR701 wheels and Nitto Terra Grappler G2 - LT285-75R tires....34" tall and about 11" wide and I have not had any rubbing after tapping in the back of the front fenders with a hammer very lightly. I don't run it off road but it is a daily driver. The wheels did need to be moved out for them to clear the tie rod ends which I did by swapping out the brakes with Hummer brakes and relocating the rotor to the outside of the hub. I admit it is close but it works so far.

aside from the tires and paint, I like it. I really like the tweeter location and the shifter. Shifter looks high enough to not have to reach down.

Did you have to put longer wheel studs in for those method wheels?

Just saw this. Sorry. Yes, longer studs on the front but the back worked fine. I had to put new studs in the front anyway because of the rotor location change.

The engine would be sweet, but based on other shortcuts, I’d question the execution. Doesn’t look like the trim was pulled for the repaint and front lift blocks on stock springs… interesting choice.
