Will this 14 bolt fit my truck?

Hi All,

Found another 14 bolt for sale. This one is out of a crew cab single rear wheel truck.

The guy selling it says it should be the same as the k10/20 since its a 3/4 ton crew cab.

I thought I read that all the crew cab frames/axles has different mounts for the springs/shocks? Can someone help me out here with the correct info?

Yes if it is a SRW rear it will bolt right in.

Nope, 3/4 ton or not, if it's from a crew cab it won't bolt right in. 3/4 ton crew cabs were just a 1 ton frame with softer springs from what I gather. Different perch spacing and shocks mounted inside the frame rails.

I've heard the same as bucket as explaning. ALL CREW CABS, meaning 3/4 too, are built ONLY on 1 ton frames. So it's going to be a 1 ton rear axle mounting situation where the leaf spring hardware is wide, putting the springs more inboard making the perch spacing narrower than the 1/2 and 3/4 ton perch spacing. I would sure be nice for confirmation though if you can measure that CC 3/4 ton rear axle. Also as bucket suggested, check the location of the shock mounts.

My 1977 crew cab , 3/4 ton has the narrow rear end in it and it will not interchange with any other of my square's , 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton , with out changing the spring hanger's or changing the spring perches. Although I do not mess around with anything past 1979 square's so I dont know about the later model stuff.
