Did the civi 6.2s have dual passenger side batteries?
I think that dual batteries was standard on diesel models. I had the same thought on whether they would be the same or not.

If you see and oval shaped perch on the front of you DS inner fender near the backside of your headlights and your bottle is shaped like mine, you need this metal bracket that bolts to the core support on top.

Well thanks now I know. Just last week organizing parts I found one of those brackets. Was wondering what in hellfuk it was for? NOW I KNOW.

It's interesting to see all the photos of the different locations and shapes.
Here's where mine is mounted on my '75 Scottsdale.

My 82 had the tank mounted on the passenger side of the core support, almost underneath the battery. I ended up installing a 85 tank on the fender. It's larger, easier to access, and lets air bubbles escape from the radiator because it's the highest point in the system.
