I have a 1986 Chevy Silverado. One of the fuel lines have burst. I was trying to drop the tank, but can't find which bolts I need to undo. I am a newbie at this so please be descriptive.

They are on the inside of the frame rail at the locations where the hanger brackets are mounted to the frame.

No the bolt and Nut is for the strap. You need to drop the whole tank first.

You must remove the 4 bolts that attach the brackets to the frame. Be sure to support the tank some how and remove the fuel lines and wires as you ever so carefully lower the tank. Also don't forget to remove the fill hoses :)

Each bracket has 4 bolts. so 16 bolts in total
