What's the most dangerous tool in your shop?

I would have to say its a close race between my smoke wrench and 20lb sledge. 9 times out of 8 when one of those little guys gets pulled out someone or something is gonna get loose or destroyed.

Definately my gas powered concrete scarcifier. With the 5 h.p. Honda motor, whizzing away at my 6000rpm and industrial diamond impregnated steel steel teeth....yeah.....it's noisy, dusty and FIERCE !


Twice now, my guys while gring concrete have hit rebar. The spinning teeth broke loose and broke a window ($5000 curved tempered glass piece) while the other time a chunk of the steel blade wedged itself back into the spinning drum. The damage to the drum set me back close to $3000 for repairs to the unit.


Expensive and dangerous, but a awesome machine when you need to shave up to an inch of not so level concrete.
