Here are the pics. He did not have a chance to polish up the tips so they're a little dirty but I think it looks good overall...

I've offered the guy $200 shipped. We'll see what he says.... If he balks at it, I'll still be on course to get my spray in bedliner in June so that's fine by me :D

I'll keep y'all updated.....

We shall see. If I end up getting and for whatever reason don't like it I'm pretty sure I can unload for about the same price if not a little more just cuz of the Corsa name

Response back from said Corsa seller to my $200 offer of his USED system: "It's a $700-1000 kit. No can do. I can sell the muffler alone for $250. "

My response back: "I know how much it is new and they are fair $$$ systems brand new. Something like this also doesn't hold value for real like compared to retail price. Good luck with sale."

 He may get a rude awaking when he goes to sell this thing if he's trying to get retail price back out of it!

That's just the unfortunate part of buying auto parts ususally. If you don't like it, you have to sell it for rock bottom for someone else to take it off your hands or suffer a total loss by keeping something you've paid for and will never use. He'll find out the hard way unless he lucks up and finds some sucker

No doubt. I wouldn't be surprised if he PMs me back in a couple weeks to see if I'll still give $200 for it. I'll probably knock my offer down to $150 if that happens

When I saw the pics the only thing that looked worth buying was the muffler, you say the whole catback system was Borla brand? Looked like aluminized steel pipe to me, could be wrong. Even the bottom of the muffler looked strange, like he had a bad oil leak or something and it was laying in the muffler burning off. Something just didn't look right. I wouldn't even bother with it just on the looks of it alone. He shoulda gave a better pic of this alleged $250 muffler.

Not Borla....Corsa :D But I agree with you that maybe I might be better off with the deal falling through

....and this was his response back to me just a few minutes ago after I told him "good luck"

"No problem. Just FYI, my corsa on my silverado sold for $450. They do hold value, especially on something with a lifetime warranty.

Take care!
"
