Picked this up and began cleaning and have a few questions.
What years?
Would the bowtie on right be factory installed or after thought. The holes on front are sloppy but in back are perfectly smooth?
What colors would the 350 emblem have been?

Looks 73-78 to me. I think yellow, or maybe red numbers is how I remember the color....

Who else has the better memory?

Yep. 75-76. Those years also have their own hood latch style.

Engine size badge was no longer there for 76. 75 grilles had 3 horizontal bars rather than the eggcrate. Numbers would be yellow on a black background. Yours is a 75.
77, 1976 still shows engine displacement.

Grille is 1975-1976

That's so weird lol. I have a weird story how I got it too, but I just got a 76 that needs a grille and hood latch.

Anyways I'll put these here.

@bucket, why would someone ruin a perfectly good emblem to add a little more detail

Thinking about it again, I'm actually not certain about the emblem. It could be correct for '75-'76 too, I really can't remember now.

It may have been a base trim level grille that somebody gussied up with the optional trim.

That first one always bugs me, lol. Down at the bottom where it points out the feature line on the hood- that didn't happen until '79.

The second picture has it right.

My 77 has that feature line on the hood like the first pic shows. And the second pic shows no engine callout on the grille in 76. Guess it's true, the only things certain are death and taxes...
