What do you guys think about the height of the hump? It looks kinda low to me. My vote is a clean 2wd late body on a 70's 4wd frame. Maybe... This is crazy..

You're probably right on the money. Looks low compared to the pics in the link to the other thread.

Doesn't mean anything. Lots of people switch to hydraulic clutch on a 4x4 as the frame twist can screw up the mechanical version.

I would also say with as much lift ass this thing has hydraulic was the only easy way to make it work properly.

you are right georgeb, it looks a lot like the '81 low hump

By any chance is the emissions control sticker inder the hood or the gvwr sticker on the left door? I think either would give a year. Also werent the tail, side and turn signal lenses date coded? Might not be conclusive but they may add to the pile of clues.....

Also the location of the headlight switch below the empty wiper switch position seems to indicate an 81-83 year on the cab.

Looks like you have the NP208 transfer case. I think those were originally in the 81-87 trucks.
