This is just my opinion, but don't go any bigger than 16" wheels. Im a fan of 15s. You can probably stick 33s under it with a 2.5" lift if you mind your backspacing and don't buy super wide tires

I personally like the look of 17-18" wheels on these trucks

Lots of people do. I have seen some that I like, it's just a personal preference thing. Tough to beat a set of polished up rallies.

Or rusted up rallies like mine lol.

I have a set of mickey Thompson aluminum 16" rims, the old style with the smaller holes and they just look small. Too much rubber. My ol man has 17" rims on his and it definitely looks better to me :) lol

What did you decide? It also depends on how you use your truck. Go for a smaller 15-16" wheel for more rim protection.

Protection from rubbing curbs, protection from hitting and running over curbs, hitting large pot holes, trees across the road, you get the idea.

i think that I'm going to keep the 16" rims and try to fit some good all terrain 32'' or 33" tires. that's if it don't brake the bank.
