What size crush washers for front caliper banjo bolt?

Do I really have to order these online? 76 C10 2wd 250. Do folks reuse them? Do you just take them off and visually match to find a replacement?

Best to replace with new but I have reused them provided they go on the same side and not turned over. Of course, clean surfaces. Visual match will work, I have a drawer with small brake parts and save any extras.

Just be sure to check for leaks like anyone should do after a repair.

Okay I yanked one. The system seals back up fine at ambient pressure without the washer, so i was able to take it out to measure and accompany me to Advance Auto. The measurement sufficiently convinced that it was this: Dorman - Help Brake Hose Washer - Id 7/16 In, Od 11/16 In., Thickness 1/32 In. Appears to be identical after matching them up in person. Hell yeah. Hopefully this helps someone else.

When I came back from the parts store, I realized it didn't seal up perfectly without the washer, so I had a little leakage. I wasn't sure if the harbor freight washers would be a perfect match without specs. Can anyone confirm that the kit from there has ones that will work? BTW it's all moot for me because I had to buy new calipers which came with the washers and a new banjo bolt.

I've had leaking banjos before and this is how i fix it. Or When installing new washers on calipers I do this every time. When tightening the bolt twist banjo back and forth as you are tightening and loosen it up again and do it again a couple times to burnish the sealing surfaces in and to prevent leaks. Blow the banjo dry af. Get in the truck. Pretend that you're slamming on the brakes for a child or 69 Camero or whatever lol. Then go back and see if it's still leaking.

I typically reuse the washers unless they’ve gotten jacked up somehow. I always flip them over for a fresh bite (they are soft copper for a reason).

Used some on my 79. I had to bend the brake lines some when I installed drop spindles
