@Ricko1966 Mixed results for the Bauer tool. The nylon roller removes layers of paint fairly well on full speed but not as well as I expected. I had 6 different colors so probably 12-16 coats to get down to metal which was still a lot of work and time, more than I care to spend. I then tried the 40 grit roller, removed material at a much slower rate so I didn’t stay with it for long. What I didn’t like most is the deeper end gouge when you were pulling it back and forth. To keep it even you have to lift on/off. IDK, maybe some higher quality rollers could even it out. After using it and considering the cheap paint I plan to use, I decided to go with 80 grit on the DA for roughing it up for the six more coats of paint and primer. Also, since it’s the brush electric motor, it slows down every few minutes, not sure why it does this other than reduced wear and tear on the motor. Air file was used to on the filler material low spots. Once I got down to bare metal I found some previous rust repair which needed to be repaired properly. I spent about 4 hours on this door which included removing and sanding paint, patch and fill/sand.
