Oh boy I finally got to post to this thread!

When you need pliers to remove your exhaust. Betcha didn't know that you used pliers to remove your exhaust, did you. Lisle claims to do exactly that. I've always liked Lisle...

I haven't treated myself to a whimsical tool in far too long. I hope I still have enough squeeze.

This one is a tool, it doesn't stay in the transmission. I know, it looks like maybe it should. Why dodge had to do that (not include a dipstick) is petty stupid $#!t.

Those exhaust hanger pliers are super handy if you often mess with the exhaust on a modern vehicle.

bah....another reminder of the ratcheting line wrench idea I had....sent to Gear wrench and a few others...and said hook me up if you build them. Haven't see squat.

If you are looking for ratcheting line wrenches (aka flare nut wrenches), this vendor has them. A mix of NOS stuff, prices are good, customer service excellent:

Not new just more useful. I have an old Craftsman drill bit sharpener,it works better than anything else ever used I haven't had good luck with the drill doctor style sharpeners, and I can't sharpen one by hand. Anyway back to the point. I took an extra grinder I had and set up a permanent, dedicated drill bit sharpening station. Snap on used to make these, and craftsman. Now you can buy a copy made by general tool. The instructions they come with are horrible,so if you get one,put up an post and I'll tell you how to set it up.

I'v been useing the craftsmen version of these as ratcheting line wrenches for 25 years didn't but them as line wrenches but these things are awesome on regular nuts so I started using them on flare fittings also. I break em loose with a regular wrench first.

My air compressor motor burnt up. Took it to a electric shop, they said the whinedings burned up. They told me it would be about 650 to rewhined it. It was 450 for a new motor. So I just got the new one. So my compressor works again.

Not recently acquired, but in February at the Conroe swap meet, the vendor next to me had a big plastic toolbox and a whole bunch(like 75) Craftsman USA made sockets. I had a good show and the box is just the right size to fit behind the driver's seat in my crew cab. Thursday, working on that crew cab, found out one of those sockets is the 5.5mm that's necessary for the blower motor bolts. Good thing to have cause there's no room to get much else in there to get to them.

Went to a couple of neighborhood yard sales yesterday and picked up a few things that I didn’t need but couldn’t pass up. Pair of 6 ton jack stands for $10, Craftsman 1/4 socket set for $3, and a couple of 25’ tape measures for a buck each. Guy at another sale had a Milwaukee 4 1/2” grinder in a box that said $2. I asked to make sure that’s what he wanted for it, he looked at my USMC hat and asked if I was a Marine. I told him I am a Marine, he said then it’s free for you!
