One of my clients recently gave me his set of Snapon line wrenches that he's had since the 70s. Said "here, you'll use them more than i have"
Thought that was super cool. Nice guy.

Also gave me a mini pipe cutter, which ive been needing, and he happened to have 3 in his truck.
bah....another reminder of the ratcheting line wrench idea I had....sent to Gear wrench and a few others...and said hook me up if you build them. Haven't see squat.

I flipped the door around and added black grip tape on the drawer pull to match. Now I just need to find a black handle to match

I swap my bumper and plow mount twice a year and this makes so much easier. Use this set more than I thought. Ratchet is 3/4". Like the pivoting case it came with.

I found this old timey gem at the Restore Donation center the other day.
It was even on sale which made it even easier to purchase to put up on a shelf to never be used again.

Found some other random small tools at the Restore too.
8 inch clamp for clamping stuff...

Yet another Milwaukee bag for Max.
He now has several of them that he can leave in the most used walkways of the house....

He found me another flashlight and then dented it by being a hamfist...

Old set of Made In The USA Upland Forge 18 Piece Hex Key Wrench Set.
They are all there in the pouch, so it came home and will fill a tool box for a car just fine.

And some other random small tools that are pretty cheap, but super useful.
Plus a certain someone seems to take all the useful tools out of my tool go bags and does not put them back. So they will replace some of those items too...

I have seen people on Instagram pinstripes on them and using them as wall art. I'd like to find a couple and sand blast them and powder coat them see how that works

I had somebody give me a set of metric ratchet wrenches about 5 years ago. Once I used them I immediately invested in a set of SAE. They now have a dedicated go to drawer in the top section of the tool chest. All my standard wrenches got moved to the lower chest. Only time I go for them now is if I need a 2nd wrench of the same size or a larger wrench than I have in ratcheting. Or in high torque situations.

Needless to say I love my ratchet wrenches. 80% of the time they are my go to.
Dad got some of the original GearWrenches, in metric and SAE, from Sears in Austin on their after Christmas sale(we were up there for extended family Christmas). He and I used them, and I still use them, quite a bit. For taking something apart, or reassembly, where you don't have a lot of access space or can't get more than a 45° swing on, they're great. The 5/16" is perfect for those pesky side terminal battery bolts that vibrate loose(so that wrench stays in the door pocket on whichever truck we're driving). Houston roads and stiff truck suspension will shake them just loose enough to affect charging and starting....

Got this media blaster for my pressure washer. It works ok. Media goes everywhere. You need safety glasses or face shield, long pants and rubber boots. It sucks the media a patch at a time. It's not a steady feed. Idk if that's the way it's supposed to be or not. Anyone do this before?

I am a material handling technician and spend money on tools to do the job better, safer or more efficiently. I finally broke down and bought one of these, a chisel/punch holder. Having smacked my fingers too many times over the years, you get gun shy and it just takes longer to complete the task. With this, hammer away, best money I have spent in a while. Also, I am not 100% sure but they Mayhew chisels and punches are identical to Snap On, they most likely are their manufacture for these items.

Is that aluminum oxide? I've not used that, yet. Glass beads, soda and walnut shells. What I see in your pix is usually par for the course. I can never get a steady flow either and I'm using 90 psi with gravity feed.

Those are a life saver. I was given a Snap-On one. They are great. The only thing I don't like about is, I can't ever get it tight enough, after about 6 or 7 hit with the hammer it makes the chisel or punch slide.
