Coulda pointed all that **** out to him and offered $300-$400. Full Float rear end, K30 frame, Should have been a NP205 tcase. In the pic, that looks to be a 6 lug front axle though.

I find many many K30's have had the D60 robbed from them and a 10b or D44 replaced.
No it was a 1/2 ton truck he used it as a 1 ton. he would not take any less then 650 for it. oh well he still has the add up and from the looks of the truck he will for awhile.
Atleast 400 bucks in good parts alone even if you scrap the rest of the truck
Where do you see 400 worth of parts?
At best I could come up with was 300
front Differtial 100
Rear Differential 100
Trans/Transfercase 100
motor is junk scrap price
Body and frame is also scrap weight
Flatbed 50.00 It was a POS bed
Bailspike was nothing that anyone would want
what am i missing other then odds and ends that are time consuming to pull apart?
Perhaps I should clearafy how i like to deal with these types of trucks.
First I dont want to have to give much more then what scrap is bringing for them in the first place, after I buy them I like to pull the universal type parts out such as, engines, Transmissions, Transfercases, and Differentials. Then I advertise that I am parting the truck on craigslist for 2-3 days, sell what ever I can off of it in that short amount of time and load it back up and take it to the scales and resell the remainder of it. I get my investment back out of it and then some. Then when all the universal parts sell is when I really make my profits.
and 650 for that truck was gonna be imposable to get much profit, especially when i try to ATLEAST double my money.
