It’s nice to have a custom shop nearby. Stopped in to see if they had any Eddy metering rods and they did. Continuing to dial in the carb a bit, but think I’ll finalize tuning it after the warm weather comes back.

They had a late 50s Cadillac for sale there unrestored, with original patina. Beautiful! Man that’s a lot of metal.

Stared at it while I thought deeply about what the **** I do next.

Yep, you'll have those days.

BTW, I know what you do next... test the fuel pressure. I'm not trying to harp, just save you some frustration.

I looked at all the snow piled on the hood. Yes, snow. Why is that a Big Deal?
I live in South Louisiana. We just got 7.5 inches of snow. That is the second highest amount ever recorded in this area. The only time we had more was in 1895.
The '87 stays under my carport and normally gets a little bit of rain on the hood. Snow is different. That white s**t was everywhere. I have no idea how it got into the places it got.

I have lived here for 54 years and I have never seen anything even close to this here. I have traveled and seen a lot of snow but never here at home. This is amazing.

I have ridden my motorcycle in your beautiful state and I have driven through part of it as well. But it was summer...

I love to travel and I love this country. But I choose to live in a part of it that this rarely happens. I have no clue how you Northern Folks deal with this all winter long.

My world is paralyzed. The entire area is shut down. Traffic started moving around noon and I will probably be on the road tomorrow.

You weren’t out doing donuts in the middle of the freeway in your K10??

Our GM is from Kansas and gives us hell about how we handle (or don't handle lol) snow and ice here. AMD didn't get a thing yesterday but 20mi south was the line, my house and my GF's parent's house (where we were staying watching their dog) was completely iced in. I barely made it home Tuesday and nearly wrecked the C10 3 different times. Couldn't make it up the hill to leave their neighborhood until 3pm. Everybody makes fun of us but ice will cripple any area

True! Dangerous. One wrong move and nothing you can do. Even experienced peeps...but I think our testosterone poisoning makes us crave to try!:D;)
