Im curious, i need to know. whats that mean?

If it's a timed unit, it just has an adjustment for the amount of delay there is, for it to apply the brakes after you have triggered the brake light switch.

If it's a proportional type, it uses some type of gyro sensor to apply the needed amount of braking voltage. Most every controller of this type needs to be mounted within a certain range around level front to rear and as level as possible for side to side.

ohhh. well since he has a squarebody he should go find an old kind that can use the tap off the master cylinder so its both proportional and he could mount it wherever he wants lol

Is that controller a timed unit? If it's a proportional unit, it probably isn't going to work installed in that position.

I think I saw lamp cord? Lol. Hopefully for a lamp...there's alot of extra wires left behind in ours too. I got all the mud dobbers out though. On the low importance list...

Haha no lamp cord far as I know just lots of wires that would normally been tucked under the old
rubber mat is cut out so basically this thing had radios sirens controls for lights and a rear mounted engine and water pump then I added some more for the amp and radio more lights etc. there's also a dual battery selector and behind the dash is a solenoid with a ton of wires going to it basically inherited most of the spaghetti and added some of my own lol

They are apparently superior design for having the most accurate braking thats truly proportional apparently, but modern ones make up for that in direct ability with good programming and options for the user

If you look closely you can see my signature switch install where I just leave it dangling because I didn't know where I want to install them got at least one like that on every rig I have

Got the 7/4pin hook up just had a few fires locally in San Diego so gotta get this truck back together asap at this point it's function over form with this truck and the 75 is way cleaner inside so that will end up being the one I clean up first pic 2 you can see this switch for my fog lights and the panel above it is for the old engine/pump setup with throttle and choke controls and the push start I robbed for my 53 Buick I V8 swapped pic 3 this switch for the spotlights lol pic 4.this is my Jeep fog lights pic 5 my 05 Silverado fogs lol I can make it nice like my bike is done up pretty I'll have to show off the dash I made and wired clean no random switches lmao

I still have it could probably be cleaned up and used but it was just in a bad position in the way for my leg

Only vehicle I have bought new a 2018 drz400 it's got full yoshi exhaust I jetted and tuned the carb with a wideband, race tech springs, pro taper bars, zeta handguards, machete mount, made the frame sliders, thumper talk skid plate and case savers led tail tidy custom dash I made for tach and usb fast charger plus more stuff I'm probably forgetting

That's a really old style trailer brake controler it's tied into the rear brakes of the truck when you move that lever it applies only the rear truck brakes and sends a signal to the trailer to brake also when you hit the pedal the lever moves pretty cool old tech
