Should I bother with some kind of stop seal for the radiator or should I look for a new rad? I will be checking levels and under the truck when cool.

Should I bother with some kind of stop seal for the radiator or should I look for a new rad? I will be checking levels and under the truck when cool.
Seems to me that some of that stuff does occasionally work, but I hate the thought of clogging everything up with something- I can only image that if it will stick to a leak, it’ll stick a lot of other places too that are unwanted maybe wouldn’t cool as well after that, but that’s just my thought.

Uh oh, the dreaded "green pee"...only one worse is the dexcool orange pee.

I wouldn't add a stop-leak. There's really no magic fix for a radiator with plastic tanks. Imho, just buy one from a local parts store with a lifetime warranty... then remember where you bought it ten years from now, lol.

I went with a Cold Case. I used the code for Vice Grip Garage for free shipping- make sure you get the one with the 1.5” lower outlet.
I definitely recall the problems you had with the lower outlet being the wrong size now...
