They auto-reset after about 1 minute. The ones built into the motors reset after they've cooled off.
Thank you! Well this one hasn’t auto resetteded itself in a month so I’ll take that as a sign I still need to remove the motor and regulator….fccck.

My painting skills are subpar, at least I am consistent with the orange peel, amazingly no bugs, a lil dirt, a couple fish eyes and no runs. Something positive, the body work actually looks pretty good. Glad to have this mostly checked off, the white on the bottom should be fairly easy since I plan to use some bedliner spray along 4-6 inches from the edge. The next hard part will be the hood since it’s got some minor hail damage to repair.

Picked up a used Weather Guard toolbox today. It’s light enough to remove when I need the space but gives me secure storage for stuff the rest of the time. This is the “deep” version so it barely fits. I woulda preferred the standard size but it was a deal I couldn’t pass up.

Installed led strip lights under the bed rails. Put a piece of hall inch rubber hose to run wires thru. Turned out pretty good. The only one visible is the one on the front of the bed. Put some heat shrink wrap on the section that ran through the tie-down holes so light wouldn't shine out of the holes.

Thank you Ted. I'm going to saw up some white oak side boards, since I'm in the hardwood business. I like that look on my ole' country truck!

Pictures of the bed!

No wait! That doesn't sound right either!

I just wanted pictures of how well the lights work.

Oh gawd. How did this go sideways?
Here ya go pictures of my TRUCK BED at night. They're pretty Brite. You can definitely see to load or unload stuff in the dark. I'd like to see how it looks going down the road. Pretty sure that you could see it from a good distance.

Do you have it wired up to the cargo light switch in the cab? If not that would be cool.

No I wired it in to the fuse box. It comes with a switch to turn off and on. I put it on the kick panel with velcro in case I need to remove it.
Then ran it under the seat and out the back of cab. That black box is if you want to set it to music. It has a hole in it so you need to keep it out of the rain. It's also velcro down to carpet. The rest of the connections are water proof tho.

I thought about wiring it to the parking lights but, thought this way was better.
