my old 1 ton decided she didnt need the 6.2 anymore..too much for a total rebuild so we went with a 68 327 truck motor delivering more power and torque and fuel of course but happy so far with the exchange

Squirted high build on the upper two tone box section, hoping to squirt top coat soon.

It shouldn't be a fuse. It should be a circuit breaker. There is also a load breaker inside the window motor. It may be jammed/shorted.

Got the front shocks installed today. I like the kyb monomax shocks, they are firm and the truck handles really well with them. But, if you install them expect a fight.

Not sure if you were replying to me as I posted, maybe in this thread, about needing a window motor. On the 77
Is this the case on the 70s window motors?
Reason I asked is the PO (I just bought the truck) was surprised the drivers window didn’t work. Said it always worked (for the few years he’s had it) until he pressure washed the cr@p out of the truck just before putting it up for sale.
I’m greatly inclined to believe him as judging the owner as much as the vehicle, this guy is in the most honest people I’ve met category.
Is the breaker re-settable? Assuming it’s intended to be an auto reset?
I’m always down for saving a buck and keeping OE parts that are likely better quality than new aftermarket stuff (in general)

Redid the roadkill fuel pump situation to one that actually puts fuel into the Q jet, so I can move it around as jobs dictate. Relocated the gas can so now I can actually close the hood. After removing the jack bolts and hardware.

Installed led strip lights under the bed rails. Put a piece of hall inch rubber hose to run wires thru. Turned out pretty good. The only one visible is the one on the front of the bed. Put some heat shrink wrap on the section that ran through the tie-down holes so light wouldn't shine out of the holes.

They auto-reset after about 1 minute. The ones built into the motors reset after they've cooled off.
