Pulled the driver's front fender and wheel well from a 79 K5 Blazer. Normally, that isn't that much of a job. However, it sure is a blast of fun when the previous owner hit a phone pole and crushed the panel, leaving a mess where there is little to no access to most of the bolts. So, you piddle away with pry bars, and cut-off wheels and torches all afternoon, with the dogs coming up to lick your face everytime you lay back down on the ground to work. Anyway, it is done, and I'm here to say there is something very satisfying about slamming something down onto the ground that has fought you tooth and nail from being removed!

Started on the sidepipes for the 76. Got the drivers side cut and fitted last night. Now I just have to repeat it but mirrored for the passenger side.

I rebuilt the Edelbrock carb, changed the fuel pump and did a cap, rotor and hi output coil. Now I have to drop the tank, if it ever stops raining. Suspected flour I guess in the tank. Pic of the carb

I got a few wows. So, I’ll explain. I inherited this truck from my Father’s passing. There were people that didn’t think I should have the truck and apparently pulled some **** before I got it. I ran through one tank of gas in everything clogged. Easy fix.

Hopefully you mean taking the truck to the swap meet to haul all the goodies you are going to buy back with you?!?! Not selling the canopy at the swap meet.. right?

If you ever end up wanting to sell the canopy let me know, I'll drive the K25 down same day and take it off your hands!
NOT SELLING THE CANOPY.
You are correct in thinking that I want it off so that I can haul our treasures home from two days at the swap meet.
Canopy will just go back into storage in the backyard for now.
For as expensive as they seem to be now, I will not let go of this one as I am to frugal to wanna pay through the nose for another.

Got the doner Blazer in the shop today. Started disassembly. I forgot what it was like to work on a unmolested truck. There were things I haven't seen in years. The two bars on the transmission dust cover that go up to the motor mounts. Trying to take off everything with care instead of the way I usually do it. Cut all the wires get the motor out. Did find a few things that were disturbing to say the least. All the mouse poo in-between the radiator and the A/C condenser. It seems weird working on a stock hight truck. Mine have always been lifted, or lowered. Hopefully I'll get the transmission out tomorrow.

Tried some Corroseal on the frame while I have the bed off at the moment. Pleased with the outcome so far. I plan to just use this on the entire thing and let it go at that. Looks ok enough to me without going to a lot of extra trouble.

Soon as I started cutting into it twisted, guy I picked up my second cowl from media blasted it before I ever touched this. Some relief cuts had to be made to get the right curvature to the cowling so it followed the hood. Cuts are at the points, I’m glad I smoothed out the wiper holes that have made it a nightmare to untwist this thing.
