I just put a top cover kit and a new reverse light switch in my SM 465 and replaced the shift forks for L-1 and 2-3 hopefully will get the slack out of the shifter , thanks to a video from U tube on the install of the top cover without that would have still been outside trying to figure it out, pretty neat little trick, can’t wait to get it back on the road

What's included in the top cover kit?

Bet your happy about not wearing that god awful but necessary neck stretcher brace, I remember when my doctor said I could take mine off and said I could take it home and I told him no thanks Doc I’ll just leave that son of b!!!! right here, man those things got nasty after a while
I never had a brace. The neuro said that "I'd never pull the titanium out BUT need to let the muscle & ligament heal". He told me to limit the movement of my head side to side & limit how I extended my arms overhead. It seems like I may have nerve damage in my right arm but thank GOD I'm not paralyzed like before my surgery.

Top cover kit has all the check balls and springs and the replacement pins for the shift forks as well as the freeze plug looking discs to reseal the top cover, it tightens up for a more definitive feel in each gear

Replaced the cheap crappy petcock plug on my new aluminum radiator.
Added oil, transmission fluid, anti'-freeze, power steering fluid and gas.
And put the hood back on. Last piece of the puzzle, except new exhaust.
Fired that Mother up............
