Started up the stepside and moved it to a different parking spot.

Charged the battery on the camo truck, did smokey burnouts in the driveway by the house, did some nice long drifty burnouts in the gravel drive, then parked it again.

Started up my son's C20, but it would only run on the bottle and wouldn't pull from the tank.

The others haven't been touched in a bit.

Drove mine to the dump Friday after sitting for a couple weeks, and the damn heater fan wouldn't come on at any speed. I've never had a problem in the past, and always liked how good the heater & controls worked in it. After reading another thread about testing the resistor & relay, I broke out my 12v probe tester. Immediately had the constant 12v to the relay, fired it up and had voltage to the heater motor. I made a fist, popped the end of the motor with the side of it and voila! motor took off like normal, all speeds working again! I'll probably eventually have to change the motor or pull it out to check for a bad connection.

Always go with the Fonz first. These are squares, they can handle the cool.

All the lights working now got it all wrapped up just about, few odds and ends mechanically still but I finally got to drive it around for the first time since June. This is the first time my truck has been one matching color in the 6 years I've been driving it, feels awesome!

cleaning aluminum parts in the big ultrasonic cleaner. 2 cups dawn in 20 gallons of water/no power to heating elements = right. 1/2 gallon dawn in 20 gallons of water/no power to heating elements = left. Left did reach 130° just with the ultrasonic process alone.

More dawn helped heat and increased cleaning and decreased time.

Cyber Monday was surprisingly good at Holley. Buy two get two free you say? Well sh!t, you can't argue with that!! So, Skoden is getting new shoes for Christmas. I hemmed and hawed about the backspacing, but only for a bit. My options were 4.5" or 4.75" and it shouldn't really make much difference once it gets lowered.

You weren't at the Houston Autorama by any chance, were you? I saw a very similar truck to yours in the show....

I haven't done much of anything except work. I did move dad's crew around and let it run for a spell. I came across this pic from 1993/1994 that has my '72 Camaro, '76 High Sierra and dad's old ramp/skid '79 C35. It's good to reminisce sometimes.
