Turbo diesel? Mate, I thought the interior was radical. We want details! And of course more pics.

Nice ute you have there.

1975 c20. Built in the Holden factory in Victoria. Colour is Lina Mint which was factory as well. New carpets in Just before I got it. It’s super rust free and the engine is solid. Just seals needed doing from sitting so long. I’ve just put in power steering and we’re going to redo the trans mounts soon. I’m putting a tub together to put it back to a fleetside as well so I’ll take a bunch more when that’s on. I’ve got new mirrors to do, I’m redoing the gauge cluster and all the seals and hinges. Eventually I’ll redo the interior, I love it but it’s a daily so needs a couple of quality of life upgrades like cupholders and stereo. Reverse cameras would be great as well.

honestly, it could be out of a tractor for all I know, pretty sure the handbrake is. They guys that did it were old school big rig guys. It looks like they cleared the shed of scrap steel and spare parts for the swap.
Radiator looks like a ford allot more than a Harrison

I decided to use a 3 port fuel pump as a bypass regulator today,it works great. 1 hate running rubber line under pressure over the top of the engine so I was using a n original 2 port pump with no pushrod as a junction to my factory steel line. The fuel we have and the electric pump would blow the needle off the seat even, just parked when the fuel would expand. Put on a 3 port pump as a bypass regulator problem solved. This is useful info for anyone run running an electric pump or a 2 port pump, the 33041 3 port fuel filters are extinct nobody has them. What happens if you run an electric pump and deadhead it will make more pressure than the float can stop. But this is what I found out after the fuel vapor incident, if you park hot,the fuel we have now expands too much just with heat so the expansion blows the seat off and gives you a way too rich start. But with the 3 port In place when the needle closes the fuel bypasses through the return line. And when the fuel expands it bypasses instead of overfilling the float bowl. Learned it from the guy at carb shop in Eldon talking about people blaming plug well leaks not knowing its flooded fuel bowls. So far this is working great we used to do something similar at a shop I worked at,to reduce fuel when putting a carb on an injected model. We use to put in a tee run the dogleg back to the tank and put a redtrictor in the return line. This working great, did need to be restricted it was bypassing to much. I'm going to get a lawn mower fuel shut off valve to use where I've pinched my restriction.

Today I went to buy some fuel hose. The same guy who helped me on post 17,446 asked how can I help you? I said I need 1 foot of 3/8 fuel hose 1 foot of 3/16th fuel hose. He comes back up carring 2 rolls sets them on the counter I picked them up and looked at them to make sure he got fuel hose. He looked at me and said you want to double check me again? I said no thought you wanted me to verify that's what I wanted.paid 11 and change for 2 foot of fuel hose and 3 clamps. NBD I can fix my truck today. But on the way home it clicked,he's the same guy that couldn't find 3/8 steel line, then said they didn't have it,to which I replied its right behind you. He said that's for brakes. So the guy who can't find or sell me a piece of 3/8 steel line wants to get butt hurt because I verified he grabbed fuel hose. Geez what's wrong with people these days. Update on using an old 3 port pump as a bypas, unfreaking believable. Got get a valve like this and it will done twist in for more, twist out for less.

I’m just still gathering/sorting parts. Plan to frame off the 84 k1500 I tried to buy new, (not knowing a buddy had ordered it) to turn into my daily driver, then seeing what all I’m going to let go with the 87 swb and the 88 crew cab srw 4wd.
One of my daughters has taken a liking to my 67 Camaro, so plan to get rid of my other projects (besides the 84) and start on it for her

When I bought the fuel hose last week for mine, it is sold by the inch. $0.62/inch! It's 30r14 fuel injection hose, though. I could have gone with the 30r7 but I'd be going back in to replace it all after the ethanol ruined them.
