For about the 10th time since I have had her I had to reglue the mirror.

Used a different kind and one drop as per the instructions.

It was a fat drop, but only one.

We shall see.

:boxing:

Timing and carb adjusted. At about 85,000 miles in 40 years. It's running like new again. Of course, I gave it the full Vice Grip Garage rebuild treatment.

That's the type of backyard collection that gets me a giddy, lol.

And it's been a long time since I saw a '74 Z28 too.

The burgundy/red car is actually a July built 74 that is originally Bright Yellow with a black roof. The other Bright Yellow car is an NHRA sanctioned & caged Type LT/Z28 4-speed car. It's a rare piece but is gutted of all that makes it an LT.

The big bumper cars ain't everyone's fave but I've gotten attached to them as of late. I fixed a '76 & sold it in 2 days, I didn't even get a chance to enjoy it.

That's clean!^^
Thanks. I put a lot of work in fixing these Squares & F's. I use what's possible & replace what I must. They ain't B-J or Mecum money at the end but folks sure don't mind peeling the onion to get great driver quality rides that they can enjoy.

If you don't mind, what did you get for it? I got 12k for my 2000 ss but had about 17k in it. My buddy bought it and got a good deal. Still had a couple of minor fixes left because I fixed all the expensive ones. Also had a salvage title which was the reason for the price drop im sure. Lol

That was a $14,500 lick. I didn't even put it on the lift for the buyer to look at. He was hooked on the test drive. He's brought it back a few times & I've done some stuff to it since. He loves it. His brother wants me to paint his racecar after him getting the 76 from me.

New coolant hose for the 82 and the 84 on ramps to get a new starter. Maybe do it tomorrow as I'm waiting on the engine to cool down. I'm getting thirsty. Lol

I may be able to drive it on my vacation. I can't wait to make it roar.
The new quadrajet and Hookers showed up. The list of parts includes bearings, seals, drums, rotors, front end parts, shifter seal, pan gasket, trans filter, blah, blah, blah.

I will see the truck in person for the first time Thursday afternoon. It goes to the exhaust shop on Friday for the 3"/oval tips.

Again, factory 454, Auto, 4:11, 2wd.

Once again, @AyWoSch Motors came through with a hard to find OE part. I know these things don't matter to most of you and I was one of the folks that threw this "crap" away back when these trucks were new...but it matters now.

I already had the OE jack but the "bracket" that holds the base was gone. I had the front bracket but not the rear one.

A little clean up, 3 little bolts and we are closer to 1987 every day.
