wish the running boards ran behind the rear tire.....be an awesome step to get into the truck. But I don't think they'd look right.
I don't think so either. I've seen a step that hooks over a tire, but haven't seen any reviews on them

I bought a full set of Bilstein shocks and got the front pair installed. The rear shocks will be installed tomorrow.
The ones I took off were shot and IIRC, those came from Autozone several years back. Pics will be added later.

The CSI water neck got a new set of O rings too.

Finally got my new front coils, spindles, tie rod ends installed on the rebuilt control arms.
Cleaned up the inside of the front cap and did a little rust clean up and primered those spots.
Forgot to take a pic............
Next are the rotors and new calipers, hoses, seals etc.

I have a hook over the tire step and it works great. Only thing is I'm sure one day I'll forget it's there, take off and crush it and possibly puncture the tire sidewall.

I will have to get some pics later. It's dark now.
The Flowmasters sound good!
Still need tidy up a bit and install new gauge bezel and dash pad.
The new throttle assembly from Hotrod Innovations and Lokar cable rocks!
Are those speedhut gauges?

Indeed they are! I modified the stock pod and used metal instead of the plastic piece to hold the gauges after enlarging the holes. The new gauge bezel I am going to use was modified in back to sit flush like a stock unit.

The Speedhut gauges have a lower profile in the back which is nice and most wires daisy chain together.

Can you share more details? What sizes? I had speedhut gauges in my old foxbody and loved them. Would consider them for my k5 as alternative to DD, but wasnt sure they could be fit into stock bezel cleanly

4" speedo and tach while smaller gauges are 2- 1/16.
It was not easy to do but I took my time fitting everything. They do not fit the holes without enlarging.

The hardest was cutting the new expensive gauge bezel in the back. I used several methods to shave off the back to sit flush. I even used a hand file over a period of many days.

Which Flowmasters did you use? I really like my 40s.

Put the finishing touches to the interior in the cargo area . Truck was bone stock with just a torn rubber mat . Got most of this free and dyed it all blue .

Which coils did you use and did you use coil spring compressor? Stock spindles or lowered?

I hate side post terminals with a passion . Plus it’s difficult to connect jumper cables to . Will be doing this to all side terminal vehicles I buy now
