It's not in my budget at all, but I'm really curious what a restored pair goes for. I know it ain't cheap. You can PM me if you would rather.
What? You make all kinds of money. I heard from @Old77 you blow your nose with 100 dollar bills.

Ignition lock cylinder.
Thanks, I have a spare in a parts box somewhere from when I left my keys sitting on the bbq grill on my balcony for 4 days. I was walking out the door to AutoStore to borrow a steering wheel puller when I thought, "one last check....."

Couldn't recall if the external chrome collar was integral to the lock cylinder or a separate part.

EDIT: I need to do the "loose GM steering column teardown/rebuild", that others on this site have kindly, generously, and extensively documented, anyway. So I will go get that steering wheel spring plate compression tool thing for real this time.

I know others have made their own, but alas I live in Hollywood and street-park (barely.) I wish I was a clever redneck McGyver with 14 acres of peace and auto parts. I see y'all's "garages" and I ... "covet" is the best word....

Nope, I use 10's and 20's.

I save the 100's so I can wipe my ass, lol.

Perfect Stance !
A shiny new set of restored Bed Rails sure would look great on that Rig ! Let me know, I have 4 sets of short bed rails ready to go.

Thanks,

This one isn't going to get bed rails, but I have a red one that the previous owner took them off, so I might want a set for it. you can PM me the price.
Looks good. Post up what size tires & wheels on the rear for those that may want to know?
The front is a 235/75 on 7" rallies, not my choice of tire but they were brand new so I thought I would run them for a while.

The rear is a 285/70 on 8" rallies. I have been called old school a few times but I like a staggered look with a touch of hot rod rake.

Looks good, is that a stock 8” Rally wheel with standard Backspace?
Are you using a spacer? The 285s look and fit real nice.

Yes standard GM rally with no spacer.
I have about an inch between the top of the tire and the inside lip of the wheel well trim.

I just finished up on the many upgrades and I finally started it up the other day.
Turned key to ignition, checked for fuel leaks and get fuel pressure instantly.
Cranked on first try. No pumping the gas pedal and you would think its fuel injected. (I never experienced a carbed motor like this truly in awe!)

New gas tank w Aeromotive in tank electric fuel pump, all new braided ptfe hoses with return line.
Aeromotive regulator & inline fuel filter along with their relay and all wiring.
This feeds my new Edelbrock AVS 2 carb.

They have a tank setup for earlier square bodies ready to go but the tank filler is different on earlier model. I bought a new tank and drilled a hole in the top for the Stealth system fuel pump system. Uses stock fuel sender with plugged fuel outlets.
I had to clearance a channel under the bed a little.

Also installed new Flowmaster exhaust with Doug's headers and new GM serpentine belt drive.

Oh and got the new Speedhut gauges installed. I love the tach!

Interior and paint next!

I will have to get some pics later. It's dark now.
The Flowmasters sound good!
Still need tidy up a bit and install new gauge bezel and dash pad.
The new throttle assembly from Hotrod Innovations and Lokar cable rocks!
