Ouch.Thanks for the advise, I believe it. My back is already a bit messed up from the stupid crap I have tp do at work. I only do that if I absolutely have to.
I had a buddy help me with the bumper, I was not messing around with that thing, to damn heavy. I'll probably use the tractor to put it on.
And lifting the 350, I think only did that twice. I dont get any help with my projects, have to do it all by myself. Took it from the ground where it was plopped, up onto a pallet, so itd stay safe, then again from the pallet to the bed on a truck to bring it away. Didn't have a tractor or a hoist at the time. I do now.
I picked up a bare Olds 455 block once but it was to move it in and out of a parts washer. Not off the deck. That was enough for me. I've developed a lot of techniques for lifting heavy objects now. None of them involve my back.
