Having done this a few times, best advice I can offer is using some glass cleaner spray-foam to help lubricate the channel runs to accept the felts. By rear seal, is that the rear channel run for the glass ? If so, it’s way easier if you remove the guides lower bolt and loosen the guides top bolt on the jamb.
And take the door panel off so you can reach in there.

I didn’t know I was “colorblind” until they gave me an Ishihara dot test at MEPs. Didn’t see many numbers pop out. Weird thing is I can distinguish colors accurately in real world applications. I have a buddy I work with that’s always screwing up color coded wiring. He’s seriously deficient. I have to come in and fix his wiring faux pas regularly.
Thats how I am with that book

It was actually nice today temp wise and someone caught me blasting the back of the cab. Should be done with that tomorrow!

This is looking great just went all the way back from beginning of your build thread, really cool stuff.

Question on your sand blasting - last time I tried that indoors it was an unbelievable mess to do, is there anything you are doing outdoors to reduce the debris or reclaim the sand or the impact of the black sand isn't much worse than normal sand? And have any issues with warping from the heat?

This was 100% necessary for me. On both the driver and passenger side the vent channel all the way to the bottom was frozen in there and had to be scraped out. I did not take off the adhesive strip to seal it in to the channel yet because I think I'm going to pull both again this weekend and try to clean them even better as both windows move much slower now. I feel like I left some small pieces in there that are pinching the window.

That rona mask is to save the face from getting blasted that coal slag hurts, plus its coal so I had another mask under the stretchy one.

I was just messing with you! That coal slag appears to work well. Is that a common blast media?

Is that lifted at all? Mine is almost identical, 1980 K25 on BFG 35x12.5... no lift but the front fenders were cut by a PO and so it clears.
