Sorry, I didn't look for your application. I didn't realize they didn't have one at all for a 3+3 in SIX PAGES
It's all good. I've made due in the meantime but I'm hoping that at some point someone starts reproducing the headliner backing for a 3+3. When they do, I'll go back and redo it unless they wan't $1,000 for it or something LOL

Tuned up my dash a little.
Pulled it apart and replaced the bad voltmeter. Painted gauge needles fluorescent orange. Disassembled and painted the back box bright white. Replaced bulbs with Sylvania ultravision bulbs and polished the clear gauge cover with Mequires plastic polish.

Power steering at idle RPM didn't work. Got a remanned pump from Napa and replaced it.
Drove around all day in 95 degree heat with the A/C on. The power steering worked flawlessly.

Got to love it when a plan comes together.

Got an estimate today for Operation Half Ass Special- decided to go for the brown paint above the upper trim line.

Quite surprising ...

If he could have taken it in today I would have dropped it off!

He is supposed to call when he can do it.

Nothing so far.

Working on dumb front gate. Arizona is a free range state. If you don't want somebody else's cattle on your property, you have to fence it yourself.

I got over a mile of barbed wire fencing.

Ordered the nut inserts and crap to get the grille and headlights on, so it doesn't freak people out so much when I drive around.

That dont seem to bad. Will that involve any body work or removing anything or just tape off and spray?

Tape and paint, except for removing the mirrors.

Engineer at work thinks that a body shop he knows of (other side of town) could do the whole truck for that.

I am highly skeptical - if it was Maaco, maybe.

My guy was right around 1K for the hood and roof, so I asked about more.

Lot of metal to deal with , even if no real body work is required.

Awesome.

I couldn't sleep at all(pain). I went and fixed up a bunch of my wiring, loomed some, got rid of a bunch more.

Started fitting an Avalanche rear seat, not easy, and don't really like it, but it's what I have at this point.

Yeah, based on what I know about fitting GMT800 seats in my '77 that definitely won't be easy. I've never tried a rear seat, tho. Will be interesting to see what you come up with
