Welded some Walker Quiet Flows up, crappy band clamps won't lock down so I bought some good ones from Monkey Fab that will be here tomorrow.

Drove it yesterday, left all my crap in the bed, it all flew out all over the road, spent an hour walking around finding it :D

Welding in sandals like a pro!
My flip flops caught on fire :D
About 6 months ago I was welding and decided I was too lazy to change footwear. I was wearing tennis shoes and no socks. A hot ember fell in my shoe and burnt the crap outta my heal!! Took a couple layers of skin off  it’s still purple where the burn was and I sure will definitely scar

New bearings and seals in my hubs and spindles on the front axle. New rotors as well. Pulled the axle shafts and diff cover to flush/blow out the tubes. Cleaned up the kingpin and knuckle. Regreased everything. Painted the hubs to make em purdy.

Got Puddle Jumper running again!!!

Changing the fuel tank pickup and putting the tank back in I kinked the fuel line...DOH!
Runs like a sewing machine.
Installed new master cylinder too. Best to have it stop as well.
New headers and exhaust are next.

I wasn't getting air out my dash just on the floor vent. So I popped the hood and chased down a vaccum that broke off the bridle plastic connector plugged it up and boom ac in all the vents. Now I need to find out why its not cold or hot just air. I filled it up with 134a and it lasted about 1 day. Also going to order master window switch. Does anyone know if the Dorman ones are good.

Gotta be better than the Ebay ones. Plus the warranty.

Went from over 8 connections to 2. Had already fixed part of an even worse section previous owner had on there to get it down to 8. At least 4 different size tubing and hoses.

Got my fuel tank most of the way out before I ran out of light. Problem with climbing under your truck is you see other $#!+ that's wrong with it.

I noticed a couple times some drops of tranny fluid under the truck, but couldn't really pinpoint where it was coming from - which was REALLY weird. While I was dropping the tank, I noticed there was a drop of tranny fluid ready to fall from the rear transmission seal. It was plural drops before because it was hot, and I didn't see a puddle at home because it was parked in the gravel/ grass.

Now I know.

What makes this worse is that I was doing this after work - at AutoZone - 30 miles away! If I'd have realized this before, I'd have gotten the seal while I was at work - $3 part.
