Just to catch everyone up with my progress, I have done nothing for several weeks now.

It sits with a half installed floor panel, seat removed, dash gauges in a pile on the floor (3 sets), no door key locks, Q-jet (sorry I bought it) not working right, AC not working, wrong radiator and shroud (I got the right parts to install), and ambition waning.

Sometimes it takes a break to gain momentum back.

If you swab it, you may be able to identify the original owner. His dna is probably all over it from obliterating his shin on it repeatedly.

At least I do when I have my hitch in the receiver without being hooked up.

It never fails, I’ll walk to my bed to grab a tool, turn to walk back and bam—instant curse word factory.

It is cool though!

This is the one on my burb.... ****** pic i know. That will break your shin. 8k lb rated crane hook welded to a solid steel bar with a hole drilled through it. Ive swore at that thing many many times!

And here I was thinking I was the only one honkey enough to use a cinder block as a jacking block. Definitely have to keep it stacked on a vertical section, lol.

Im redneck.... most things i do are half assed. I only used it to lift the body to see what it would look like jacked up

Thats when fun begins and the tach math starts.. the picture makes it look worse than how it really is when driving.

Looks like it's not mounted to the shift collar. That's were I mount mine too, I like them stationary.

They are stationary. This is a better picture of the view in a driving posture, I tend to lean towards the door more when driving so it works well.

Gotta finish the floor first so I can get the seat back in. Wait, gotta put the rear corner speakers in first.

I have come to realize what a ****** welder I am. And flux core wire is a BITCH to grind.

Finally was able to get some tinkering in today while dodging rain drops. Oil change on the Saturn. Door panel put back on the dually. Did some messing with my bedliner to make it fit better and put some trim around my taillights See pics

This winter has yielded very few chances to tinker at all. Gonna start hitting the rear doors hard once I get back in town from a business trip and then vacation

Spent a few hours in the sun ripping out the entire interior. Made a mess, but got the carpet, gaskets, headliner and door panels all taken out. Scraped the dirt and carpet remnants out and vacuumed it all out (including inside the doors). Now I just need to get the carpet kit and sound proofing purchased and installed. My seat should be back in about a week so I gotta get going on this interior!

I picked up my seat last week, spent a few days on the Fat Mat (that stuff takes forever!). Threw in some extra padding / heat shield (AZ summers SUCK) and carpet. After that I installed the seat! 3 days off and on installing the fat mat and it only took about 6 hours to install the carpet and seats.
