I finished pulling apart my extra K5 frame. It had 6 inch front springs and a D60 that will be for my '78 Burb 4x4 swap. Also had a nice receiver hitch that will probably be for my '77 K5, maybe. I kinda like the old bumper hitch, as you just don't see them much anymore.

I put in some amber marker lights, mounted my fog lights, put some chrome visors on my doors, and picked up some bed rails.

I had exhaust cutouts installed on my 84 along with turn down tips that dump straight down. The setup has a remote control that allows me to run exhaust through the flowmasters at 100% or up to 100% straight exhaust with the touch of a button. It sounds sweeeet !
Which ones did you go with?

Unknown brand, purchased off ebay. They are electric and controlled with a wireless remote control.

Replaced my powersteering from pump to rag joint but its an ongoing battle:biggun: . A little tip to anyone who trys to rebuild one of these saginaw boxes: make sure you have the sector shaft bearing seated deep enough before you put the seals in or you will create all kinds of problems for yourself:banghead:. New seals on the way and backup steering gear going back in the truck today. First one i did and the box feels good tho. Just leaking. Lesson learned, now im smarter:Big Laugh:

ebay search "Blackhorse Racing" 2-1/2" electric exhaust cutout. I attempted to attach a link, but wasn't able to do it.

Had my welder put in inner rockers, floor pan and cross frame support. Laid on some thick Rustoleum Rubberized coat underneath and similar (not as thick) inside to cover up the welds. Wear a face shield or lay it on thin and multiple coats :). Lesson learned.

Guess I'm stuck with metal floor until I get new carpet since I cut the old rat bit out before I took it to him. Still gotta find the leak in the dash area before installing new carpet. i'm thinking windshield seal as the valance (or whatever it's called) is clean....drains work. It's got a small crack where the antenna wires come in, so I may just have the windshield replaced for $175 with new seals. Water shows up at the end of the pedal at times.

Nice to not be flintstoning anymore, but he did melt the speedometer cable (was bouncing anyway so I prolly needed a new one anyway). Getting ACDelco per suggestion on previous post.

2 weeks ago had to replace fuel pump due to intermittent bogging down issues while accelerating fro stop sign/light. Had a cheap oreilly pump replaced in July 2017 and got warranty refund, went for AC Delco replaced on Oct. 10. So far no issues. Strange, AC Delco pump...box stated Made In Mexico. Man, how things have changed over the years. Also, one month ago, upgraded from lap belt to 3 point retractable seat belt. Had to make modifications to work but I do like them.

Had to take Gerdie to a mechanic to fix the blinker issue. That's a big ol kick in the special purpose, taking her to someone else to fix something.
I also asked him to fix some of the other issues I haven't had time to get to. so, money well spent.

Just over here trying to track down the correct low beam headlight socket and oem headlight bezels for the 91. A lot more difficult that I would have ever imagined.
