installed a $50 billet steering wheel not "show quality" but better than the stock one. didnt even need my fancy wheel puller neither to take it off, just a little will power and off it came.

It's still on pause, I have some parts for it, it's just a matter of having appropriate time to get that stuff done. With winter coming, nearly all non-essential car work is stopping.

Unless you consider a Volvo 850 to be a square, that got a new heater core last week.

Replaced the leaking Master Cylinder and flushed the entire system. The brake fluid came out black, it had been so long since it was last done (probably 10 years ago at least). Took a whole large container of DOT-3 to actually get all 4 lines to bleed clear.

Swapped some Magnaflows in place of my Dynomax Superturbos. Installing a set of cats today to finish it off. I was never really happy with the Superturbo sound, and the Magnaflows are good just piddling around, but get really poppy and loud under hard acceleration through 2800-3500 rpm. The cats should tame that just enough to make me happy.

I currently have Super Turbos (headers and no cats). They are a little too quiet at idle, but they are nice and quiet on the highway. Still a bit too quiet at full throttle.

How do the Magnaflows compare? I'm concerned with drone on the highway. That, and not tick off the neighbours more than I already do....

The sound is quite different (more rumbly, I'd say), but they are pretty quiet at idle, and cruising down the road. Where they get loud is under a heavy load from about 2800 RPM and up. It's really weird, it will get really crackly and poppy around 2800RPM, then by 3500RPM it's all smoothed up and sounds very nice. I have an x-pipe, and I think that contributes to some weird harmonics going on. My previous truck had a single exhaust with Magnaflow and it sounded way different. I'm anxious to get the cats on there and see how it sounds.

Took most of the summer to get the lift kit on it...Work really gets in the way sometimes

Replaced starter...again. this time put in a brace to go with it. Rumor has it that will help prevent so many busted starters. We'll see.
New carrier bearing. Noise and vibration reduced. That's a good thing.
Found a leak in the right rear brake hard line.
And thought about finding the break in the purple sense wire to the starter, but eh, the switch taped to the dash is still working, so maybe later.

Finished welding in my cats today, and the sound is just right now. Nice and mellow at idle, but still some rumble, easy going just loafing around town, but when you stand on it, she wakes up. I'm quite happy now. Plus, the exhaust smells better (not by much, thanks EFI! But better, all the same).

Seafoamed

My 90 1500 4x4 has been knocking and pinging like an old Benz diesel. Under and load it sounded like crap and ran the same. Headed out to the lake in western PA last weekend it couldn't climb the hills eas of state college and I almost caused a pileup as it went from 75 on flat ground to 45 half way up. On flat ground it flies but dies up steep hills. Friends have been telling me about sea foam to clear the carbon out. With the help of a buddy we ran a can through a vac port and she smoked pretty good. I ran it till the smoking stopped and let it sit overnight. Then I put a can into 1/4 tank and ran it through. I must say the pinging had been reduced, not 100%, and had much better throttle response. Only problem is I found a have head gasket leak? That caused the fluid to get into the exhaust and smoke. It eventually stopped. Will run more through the tank and go attack that hill again for a true test.

I would say it has improved the performance. I improved one problem but found another.

Tom, What vacuum port did you put the Seafoam in? If it is into the throttle body/intake that will go directly into the combustion chambers so that will smoke.

Not sure what other vacuum port you might mean.

Yea it says on can to help clean up but running it in fuel tank will do the sam just not as high concentrate
