Mine left me stranded this evening. Just died and had no power at all. Parked in the middle of the road and couldn't even turn the hazards on lol. Tracked it down to a broken starter wire and managed to patch it up well enough to get me home. First time it's ever broke down on the side of the road.

Sent from an old rotary telephone.

If you could patch it up and get home then you were not techically stranded. Thats whats nice about these trucks.

Yeah, with some tools and a couple spare parts (cap, rotor, coil, belts, wire) one can generally get back running down the road as long as it's nothing major.

I haven't done a darn thing to mine in two months. My son has started in auto shop at the high school. He has been busy and so have I. I have to get on it.

After working 6 days in a row forever, I went out and started both trucks. And started daydreaming of what could be done during my next week of vacation.

Ordered lug nuts. I never dreamed that it'd be so difficult to order 32 lug nuts. And then to find them for less than an arm and a leg was ridiculous!! I had to order 28 off Rock Auto and then grab another package of 5 off eBay to get my best deal :shitsweak: So I guess I'll have one extra. Maybe I should hang that extra lug nut off my trailer hitch :roflbow:

Used mine to pull some shrubs out of the ground. Was going well until I backed up a little too far and tagged the house. Smashed one of the rain gutter downspouts and bent the bumper. Wasn't too bad though, the Suburban bumpers are way thin compared to a step bumper so I was able to get it pretty straight again with a dead-blow hammer and some well placed boots.
