Are you talking a cab mounting bolt? If it's what I think it is, as I was explained to, cuz I have the same issue on an 85 cab, you will have to cut a small square in the floor of the truck to get access to the other side. If that's what you mean by stipped. Mine is spinning on the other side.

Took the brush guard off the burb and cleaned off all the rust and ****** paint... Re-painted it with a good primer and bedliner in a can... Turned out looking good with only a little texture to the paint

Drovethe 84' for the first time in a few weeks. Driving the Caprice really made me appreciate the fresh suspension in the 84'. I was veering all over the road because I was used to the play in the Caprice steering. :D

I'll probably be rebuilding the suspension on the Caprice this fall sometime.

Replaced my plug wires today. The headers burnt up acouple of em was runnin like crap tack jumping all over. I splurged and got the msd super conductors for headers so hopfully theyll last at $100 I dont wanna replacem every year. Funny any time I fix or replace anything I feel like it added 100hp for acouple days then it wares off. Then want to fix something else to get the high again

Goes to show you. These trucks are addictions just like drugs. Always chasing that high just like first time.

Keep them plug wires off the headers. Doesn't matter how good they are, you touch the headers, they're going to get trashed.

Did some general maintenance and a few minor repairs to Porky. Steering box bolts were loose, carb needed adjusted, fuel filter and line needed replaced/rearranged, pcv needed hooked up, oil needed changed... that sorta stuff.

Also got the engine/trans about ready to pull out of the C10, just a few more things and it's outa there.
