agree.....thats one thing I have to keep in mind when I get parts.
Tell them it’s a 198_ with a 1994 Lt1 from a roadmaster but it was built and swapped to be corvette specs(minor accessories changes I think?) from a..91?? Whenever the Lt1 was made.

The after all that say oh wait we put a 99 5.3 from a Chevy Silverado LOL

How much did you order to do all this? Did it come with the tape as well?
Chris,
I ordered one box of Kilmat. It was a box of 47 pieces. It was enough to cover the cab floor and back panel.
I ended up getting a second box to do the roof and doubled up on the floor and there's enough to do the doors now too.
Doesn't come with the tape. I used the HVAC seam tape. Sticks great.

Honestly I don't even give them the option to be confused anymore. I look up the parts myself online. I know before I go to the store if they have it in stock, and if not I can just call it in for them to order it ahead of time without wasting time driving in to tell them what part to order.

sucked it up and spent $40 to change the horizontal window seals on the existing rusted doors. It'll get me through the winter.

Bought a brand new 350 long block crate engine for my '86, to replace my blown up 305.
Bought a 100$ junk 350 to get 310$ back on the core charge.
Getting a set of good Vortec heads off the junk one before it goes away... so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Took her to the radiator shop - been losing antifreeze out of the coolant overflow bottle for a while now. Slowly, and no visible leaks.

Saw this on the way there.

No leaks on the radiator or the hoses.

Radiator man thought it might be heater core :flame: but decided nope, not leaking. :waytogo:

Suggested I change one of the OE tower clamps and the radiator cap, so I bought a AC Delco cap on the way home.

Parts guy was like Suburban? GMC ? Isn't that a Chevy ?

Older parts guy schooled him. :anitoof:

Oh, saw this at the radiator shop - memories. Had a similar one in high school.

Well, it had a front bumper...

LOL
