put a new edlebrock intake on mine

That's the intake I have on my K1500. That's what was on it when I bought the truck. They guy had just put on the 2701 Intake and 1406 Carb. He didn't get the Mod Kit to install the 700r4 TV cable and trashed the trans about 200 miles later and why I bought the truck from him for $500. It had over $500 worth of new Intake, Carb and Headers when I bought it. SOOOOOOOO Make sure you get the mod kit for the linkage if running a 700r4 Trans.

Replaced the starter with one with new lifetime warranty. Make a big difference. Turns over fast.

I love the slots as well but not sure they are going to stay on this truck

I might have them polished and run them on this truck but I kinda want a more modern look for it

Spent all weekend painting the truck. I layed down a layer of White Rustoleum over the whole truck (minus the hood and roof) to cover the cracked and flaked areas to prevent rust until I can get time to do a proper paint job. Painted all the trim black or black/silver.

Pics to come in the before and after thread later
