Got a spare tire that matches my other 33’s, mounted my “new” toolbox on the back, love a short bed with a tool box! Also had to replace the fuel tank vent on the filler neck, messed up when I replaced the tank and thought a 5/8 hose would do, but no, my ******* got it crimped and it wouldn’t breath. Fueling it up doesn’t take 15 minutes now

Installed the new steering wheel. Had to eliminate the horn function for now. I've got a momentary switch coming, to get the horn working again.

Its going to get down to -10 on sunday, and maybe -15 next week.

Though I have the block heater, I want to see if it will start in this cold of temperatures. It might be the end of this motor, but I don't really care since I get my Burb back tomorrow, and I have the new motor almost ready to go in.

Poor starter!! Dang that new thing don't want to start!! Never been around that cold of temps so no idea!

Cleaned up my engine area a bit.Worked on some wiring.Going to update old fusible links to inline blade fuses.Tested out the winch.I think it will definitely get me out of trouble,or others.

Do yourself and those engines a favor and change the oil out for 5w-30 while the temps are that low. 20-50 is brutal on air cooled engines that are designed for that weight oil in temps that cold. I’m running 15-50 synthetic during the summer to keep my oil pressures up, but when it gets cold I switch it back to 5-30

The only engine I'm running with 20w50 is my yellow trucks, and that is only because its catastrophically worn out. I have a newly rebuilt 292 that I'm going to drop in this spring. I just want to see if it will start, if not, I'm going to hook it up to the block heater.

Found the culprit of my light vibration and loud squeaking. Having never done a u-joint myself, Step-son and I went and got the tool kit from harbor freight and knocked it out pretty quick.

OK not a square, a mini square, not mine. This is my Grandson, Kooper's that has become a family project. I bought it.$300, got it running, then my son, Kooper's uncle did the body and paint work with the help of my Daughter and SIL's help. We like it , although it is a fiat(dogde) color, dark charcoal with the Camaro Synergy Green stripes. Not totally done.socks holding the windows, no inner door panels yet, but the kid is HAPPY, see pic
