Installed my class 20ish receiver i found off a ton'er last fall on the crew (its very over kill but looks good). Had to torch and cut and weld some diff brackets on it but went well. Then installed new exhaust gaskets on the 79 and had two 18" glasspacks and tail pipes welded on the crew (actually pretty quiet). Now the crew is in for an alignment and balance cus she shakes 55mph+ (prolli going to tell me to ditch my 9.5 tires :( )

Hopefully get my front fenders primed this weekend. I did go and help a buddy work on his 1950 chevy truck. Need to find some OEM door latches and striker plates for the 50 because the aftermarket crap does not fit worth a ****.

Ive officially parked mine for awile, im tired of putting 20$ in either everyday or everyother day. Its time to drive something a lil more gas-milage freindly for awile.

It also gives me a chance to work on her and not have to have it back together to drive again on mondays.

Had to park mine too. The PS pump being bad, and not driving in the highway with these rotted tires any more. I"m driving the box van as my daily now. Probably will until I get moved.

I added oil to the '88 Burb because it was 3.5 quarts low again. I had just checked the oil on Sunday, and it ain't leaking it. I'm surprised it still runs too. My wife had just barely made it home... it started clattering, running like crap and lacked ALL power. Time for another motor, ASAP.

I started putting a K5 rear seat in the 3rd row position of the '90 Burb. Couldn't get it finished because I ran out of daylight.

Ohhhhh yeah. I wonder what PawPaw has to say about that. I've made that drive in a day before... but it would be a shame not to visit.

Now that's the one you bought last year wasn't it? The 2wd? Damn, that's burning alot of oil. Should be some blue smoke if it's that bad.

Getting the little stuff done while the weather warms up so I can start on minor bondo spots and paint prep.

Painted up my logos. Pic sucks but look great in person, if the rain would stop today I'd get em back on.

Certainly different. I think I'd have to see them on the truck before I decided if I like them or not.

Here are the decals on the truck, the matching paint on the grill and the foglights I just added a few weeks back too.

OK, now it all makes sense. That looks much better than I was expecting.

i think the whole thing will really look good when the truck is dark grey/charcoal metallic with all the trim painted black to match the grill and a red pinstripe.
