Welcome aboard 1979customdelux200, you might get more help with your engine swap questions if you put them in the engine and performance section. That said I would go to a pick-a-part and get either the brackets from a v8 truck or do a bit of an upgrade and get the serpintine belt setup from a newer v8 truck, just make sure you use the right water pump the serpintine ones are reverse rotation.

What's wrong the 250 I6? If it's a runner, rock with it !!! So you've got an old 327 with the Power Pack heads and no accessory holes? Is that your question?

I fixed a fuel leak on the '90 Burb I just got earlier in the week. Also figured out a good way to strengthen up the rusted rear portion of the body.

Then after the race I went back out and cleaned all the crap out of the K5 I got yesterday. Then I took off the tailgate and installed a regular pickup tailgate.

Haven't done much except change the plate to the one my wife got me for my birthday, 1978 NC Farm Truck plate. I'm kinda debating finding some reflective red paint and hand painting it to look like the odd year plates from that era that were red lettered instead of green.

Oh yea, and if you think about it, I'm in 2nd place here, vote for me!

You need to at least take it out for a drive and let it stretch it's muscles.

Referring to me? It's out of the shop right now, making room for the F250 to be worked on in it's spot. I just drove it last week. Will probably drive it this weekend again if the weather gets better.

Oh no the OE wheels will get dismounted except for one as a spare and put in the shed. They are from Treadwright.com called Gaurddogs. They are 285/75/16 load d recaps. They are called a B2B series because they are recapped from bead to bead so they have all new beads and sidewalls along with the tread of course.

I got my freebie tire mounted and put back on the 79. Then replaced a noisie tensioner pully on the yota. Then ripped out the seats on the 77 and got the heater core out of it. (Not fun at all), Also the carpet is all eff'ed, complete junk from all the coolant that has been sittin in there for a long time :/ and 2 little holes in the passanger floor board. So i have a bigger job ahead of me. Also found a old pencil with a square eraser along with a 3" screwdriver and some gum wrappers in the duct work.

Last night me and brother got all the old duct work out and scrub and cleaned and ran new vaccume lines then installed along with the new heatercore in. Then started to tackle the carpet, we have decided to put some elbo work into the carpet and see if it can have some life left. Sofar its worlds better but we going to steam clean it next. We also scrubbed and polished the dash, doors, and panels. We also bolted a fuel tank, generator, and toolbox to the flatbed.

installed new chrome air cleaner and cleaned up some goofy wirings (use to be a fire truck). Today plan to get new heater hose's and valve cover filter.
