Made this throttle linkage extender out of an unused zinc coated gate hinge. Cut it to shape with an angle grinder. Throttle is really light now on my Sniper. Almost makes me want to get a heavier return spring, but it snaps back reliably. It’s just my mind playing tricks on me because pushing the pedal down is much easier.

Mounted some old backup lights I had laying around. I haven’t hooked them up yet, not sure if I want to splice them into the factory wires or run a separate switch. I’d rather have them on a switch because of the flexibility, but that means having another relay and switch to wire in.

Edit: Went out to the shop and did some digging. Found the leftover wiring from my kit for my bumper lights. It’s long enough to run to the rear of the truck. Also found a relay in my wife’s console, not sure why but there it was. And found a good place for the switch in the cab. So that’s the route I’ll be going since I have everything I need except a toggle switch.

You can actually hook up the backup lights to the reverse lights and have them on a switch for idiots with brights on.

I wish I had seen this sooner lol. I found most of a harness from an old set of KC lights. Used that, and a switch I found in my toolbox and just ran a new circuit for the backup lights. Cost me $0, just about 2 hours of my time.

Took the gay bucket seats out of my sons 82 stepside and put bench seat in, seat cover, and gun rack in. Just need to get rid of the Sporty gay fat short man steering wheel and find an original.

Were they factory buckets? I'd like to get the brackets from you if they were.
