I redid the door panels. Put new elastic on the map pockets, painted the panels back saddle. Put coverlay on the dash. All new cab weather stripping, all new window felt/tracks. Rebuilt vent windows. Had the truck painted with spray in liner. Pulled and restored a 79 grill from the junkyard with new bowtie for the front, and trashed the ugly 80s tube grill.

I think that's it for recently.
Yes it has a busted upper corner, but it's hard to find these things intact. It had some fine cracks on the left and right side, that I cut some prices of plastic and epoxied to the inside of it to stabilize it and make it stiff again. And yes it's a 79 grill and I have an 80 but I didn't find an 80 and a 79 came into the local junkyard where I pulled this one and for the price of the grill $20 and the two cans of spray paint i bought I have the same amount as a reprop off eBay. Well I then bought the bowtie for like $65. But I wanted the bowtie which the 78-80 is not reproduced to fit a bowtie.

Edit: I grabbed this pic out of my text messages. I don't know why it cut the top pic off halfway. But y'all get the idea. You can see which tube grill I had and we all know what they look like.

Gave mine a quick bath in anticipation of putting it away for the winter.

That's such a sweet truck. It's getting harder and harder to find them in that great of shape. I look through CL Phoenix and Facebook Marketplace all the time, if you find one like that IT IS $$'s!

I just looked at mine this morning. I haven’t started it in 2 weeks. Im getting slack. I have been researching the windshield mounted spotlight, so that’s something.

Thank you for the compliments! It had some work done over 20 years ago, but I agree, they are really hard to find in "original" condition. I usually turn down two or three offers to buy it, a year.

Cleaned out from behind my seat. Took my old organization pouch thing out because it’s falling apart. Got rid of a bunch of crap, got it down to a tow strap, booster cables, two jackets and a small tool bag. Amazing how much unnecessary stuff was back there.

Rubed up passenger vent. Used dryer exhaust flex tubing. Rolled up some strip aluminum and put it in flex hose. Held in place with aluminum duct tape.
