Purists won't like it, but my factory gauges were either unreliable or didn't work at all. Replaced them with mechanical oil and water gauges, voltmeter, and tach. Also replaced the Speedo cable that lasted two days after getting the truck on the road. My fault, melted against the exhaust.

Now if I could only get the fuel gauge working. PO cut the wire from the frame valve to the gauge under the truck and don't know where it enters the firewall and connects to the cluster plug.

I like it. What I am not a big fan of is aftermarket gauges that are installed in the bezel itself and not behind the cluster. Like this. They are too 'in the face' for me they don't blend into the cluster.

I'm back from the abyss! Since the last episode I've closed on a 53 acre farmhouse that has a garage that was converted from a barn. So I have 2 car parking up top and around back I can drive one in or have 2 with the use of dollies. Currently upstairs are the Burb and the 65 Skylark.

More pics soon. Very excited about being back around and even more excited about keeping a few of my vehicles out of the elements. HELLO BEING ABLE TO WORK ALL YEAR ROUND!
