Coincidentally, I was kicking around the idea of picking this one up today. It’s being sold through a business and he’s only available til 4pm so I’m not sure I could make it in time.

He’s asking 700. It’s an aluminum caravan camper with solar panel, solar controller and inverter. Unfortunately, the roll out shade is not included. I’d have to pull my rack and box to get it home.

FWIW, if you didn't know, that panel and controller are under 100 bucks together. But it's a cool bugout shell.

Right, not a big value adder. I really want something more period correct anyhow. Who knew so much indecisiveness could be attached to a camper shell purchase. I’ve gone back and forth on more shells than I care to admit.

I have several panels and controllers for hotwire fence setups I can rob for the right shell.

Not exactly an impressive install either. My OCD would require a redo, lol

Picked out my next two purchases. Unfortunately going to need the power steering belt first. But at least it’s only $6.99.

Had to let it dry out for a couple hours after leaving the windows down yesterday while out. A random 15 minute storm blew through. Damn thing was still wet today and I don't really have an interior.

Definitely will be change the power steering belt tomorrow since it broke today, 20 miles from home. No choice but to drive it. Got home to a nice puddle of fluid running out. I really hope I didn’t bust a seal or a hose, hopefully it just bled out of the cap.

No, I didn't take any pics, but I just cut a hole about 3" wide x5" tall, basically behind the fan housing at the resistor.

changed my timing curve/table again. I keep bumping it up incrementally until I see a decrease in manifold vacuum. so far i'm moving in the right direction. I think I started a bit too modest.

Any plans to put a mesh screen there or anything?

We got 1 1/2 inches of rain yesterday and up to 40 MPH winds.

Spent this morning cleaning up the mess and drying out the vehicles.

It happens if you don't expect rain and you leave the windows open,

No, I didn't put anything in and really don't plan to. The supply air is coming from inside the cab, so I don't see the point.
