Well, not as productive of a day as I'd hoped, but I got new rear brakes, wheel cylinders, and brake hardware on the back, so no more leaking.
I also got all the bulbs fixed in my dash, and upgraded a couple to 168s.
Got my right turn signal and check engine light working. Got some more rust off the frame and ospho'd some more, and I did that pex pipe thing to the door strikers. That **** works nice, btw. No more slamming doors.
Battery is charging now.

Front brake squeals are fun. Never know what you'll find.
I actually got one new caliper today. I think I'm gonna have to drive 14miles for the other one.
I also have both front brake hoses and the rear center hose here to do. Then reset the prop valve, do a full flush, and hopefully I'll have good brakes again!
I also took the blower fan out, and I think the bearings are going. The cage is grinding on the lip of the box and its annoying as hell.
I picked up a steering wheel puller, plate removal tool, and my pivot pin tool will be here tomorrow. Trying to decide if I want to replace all the switches in the column while I have it apart to fix the sloppy tilt issue.
Damn, this is a lot more work than I anticipated. Lol...

That sounds like a really productive day to me. Except for the check engine light, you're supposed to put tape over that.

Installed the lock strip in the rear window seal today, fixed my high beams, tried to fix my wipers but some how managed to make them always stay on when I didn’t touch any wiring, I’m guessing faulty switch, secured my coolant reservoir and the washer fluid tank in place.

I wanted it to come on for that couple of seconds when I start it like its supposed to.
If it starts giving me real trouble, though, I'll just snip the wires. :D

Took a little Sunday highway drive to get the juices flowing , and then a little black silicone work - on me, and Goldie:D in an attempt to fill in a gap in the wearherstrip and keep the crappy carpet from getting wet.

We will see if it works.

Reinstalled the seatbelts, did an oil change, topped off the fluids. Installed the bumper that was originally on the truck and cleaned it up with some steel wool. Need to bend a few things back on the bumper so it doesn’t look as bad.

this was before cleaning it up.

Well, I'm finally almost done with the door restore. I'm about half way through my 4th door. Should be done this week or the weekend. Next up will be my headliner and I'm thinking I may have to remove my rear window to get the headliner out. Not the end of the world but seems like the only real way I'm going to get it removed considering how long that headliner is. I doubt I can pivot around to get out through one of the doors. I'm pricing headliner material today and may get some ordered this week.
